Annual Leave Restoration Guidance and Instructions for Leave Year 2024
We encourage agencies to refer to the Office of Personnel Management Fact Sheet: Restoration of Annual Leave for information on the regular process for restoration of annual leave. To ease manual processing, the Payroll Operations Division (POD) will again utilize an automated method to restore leave for leave year 2024 as outlined.

2025 Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) Contribution Changes - Higher Catch-Up Limit to Apply at Ages 60-63
On December 29, 2022, President Biden signed the Setting Every Community Up for Retirement Enhancement Act of 2022 (also known as SECURE 2.0 Act) into law to help employees save more for retirement. Effective January 1, 2025, tax year 2025, the higher catch-up limit applies to employees at ages 60, 61, 62, and 63.

New Years Day holiday, January 1, 2025, falls at a critical time in the payroll processing cycle for PP 2025-01. As a result of the holiday, all pay groups are required to submit amendments and current T&A files to the Interior Business Center (IBC) as outlined, which may be early for some agencies

2025 Holiday Schedule for Time & Attendance Reporting and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Pay Dates Reminder
Based on the 2025 Federal holidays, early submission of Time and Attendance Reports for all clients is required for the following pay periods (PPs). The submission must be one business day earlier than the usual time frame. It is important to document the early submissions required for the PPs identified below and mark your calendars accordingly.
