FPPS Payroll Leave and Operational Procedures (PLOP) Virtual Training

Description:
This virtual training provides an overview of timekeeper procedures. Topics covered during the virtual training include rules and regulations related to pay and leave procedures, work schedules, hazard pay, and FPPS pay codes. Attendee will learn and practice time and attendance (T&A) preparation, amendments to the T&A, and navigating the T&A process in FPPS using applicable commands.

Target Audience:
This virtual training is appropriate for supervisors and timekeepers involved in the T&A process.


FPPS Payroll Master Update (PUT) Virtual Training

Cost $200.00

August 2, 2023, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time with lunch from 11:00a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Description:
This virtual training provides an overview of the FPPS commands used to initiate and maintain payroll transactions comprising the employee's payroll master record. FPPS menu options covered include Employee/Position Maintenance, Special Pay Maintenance, and View Pay Detail. Attendee will practice inputting changes to an employee's address, taxes, entitlement, and voluntary deduction records.

Target Audience:
This virtual training is appropriate for Human Resources personnel, supervisors, and personnel responsible for payroll master record input and changes.


FPPS Leave Share Virtual Training

Cost $200.00

August 3, 2023, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time with lunch from 11:00a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Description:
This virtual training provides an overview of the FPPS commands used to initiate and maintain payroll transactions for the leave share program. It will include how to initiate and maintain leave share recipient and donor records in FPPS. Also covered will be how to interpret leave share information on employee leave views in FPPS as well as on the leave and earnings statement.

Target Audience:
This virtual training is appropriate for Human Resources personnel, supervisors, and timekeepers involved in the management or timekeeping of the leave share program.

Description: Employee Express is a one stop shop for federal employees. The application will allow you to edit direct deposit information, set up financial allotments, and sign up for Health Benefits. The eLearning will walk you through various aspects of Employee Express.


FPPS Leave Bank Learning

Description: This training provides an overview of the FPPS (Federal Personnel/Payroll System) commands used to initiate and maintain members of the Leave Bank Program.


FPPS Payroll Update Training

Description: This course provides an overview of the FPPS (Federal Personnel/Payroll System) commands used to initiate and maintain payroll transactions comprising the employee’s Payroll Master Record. FPPS menu options include Employee/Position Maintenance, Special Pay Maintenance, and Charity Mass Input/Change. Interpretation of the Pay Detail View (PDVW) is also provided.

Description: This webinar provides information on the FMLA and FEPLA. Topics covered in the webinar include the purpose of FMLA and FEPLA, eligibility, restrictions, and substitution of paid leave for FMLA. This webinar also explains the differences between FMLA and FEPLA, Voluntary Leave Transfer Program and sick leave provisions, pertinent pay codes, time and attendance input, leave screens in FPPS, and applicable references.

Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS) Payroll Training: Payroll, Leave, and Operational Procedures (PLOP) – Virtual Training

For our Interior Business Center customers, the Payroll Operations Division is offering a free virtual training. The virtual training will consist of two sessions with a break in between to allow time for lunch. Each session will be 2 – 3 hours in duration.

Since this training is being offered at no cost, sign-up for this virtual training closes on July 12, 2024. Please note this training has limited space as outlined in the Registration Information section under the Announcements tab.
