SUBJECT: Notice: Department of Treasury Changes to Direct Deposit Payment File Releases
SUMMARY: Treasury has made a change in the timing for processing direct deposits. Each agency's Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) pay date (official pay date) remains unchanged. IBC continues to send payroll files to Treasury per our normal biweekly payroll process, however, some employees have been accustomed to their financial institutions processing direct deposits in advance of the EFT pay date. This change happened for pay period 22 of 2024 (October 6, 2024 - October 19, 2024), and will be in place for the foreseeable future. Any employee paid by IBC will be receiving their pay checks by the EFT pay date.
