For Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 year-end processing, the Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS) will generate a split Labor Cost file in Pay Period 2026-21.
The file for the current FY will contain payroll costs for the period of September 20–30, 2026, and it will use the normal naming convention. Payroll costs that appear on the current year Labor Cost file will include pay codes not related to a specific day, such as Awards (i.e., pay codes starting with 30*). The Labor Cost file for the new FY will include costs for October 1–3, 2026, and the file name will end with “.NEW.FY”.
Both files will be available following the calculate process for Pay Period 2026-21. For each client, there will only be one FPPS Summary Reconciliation Report available in Datamart, which will contain the total charge for Pay Period 2026-21.
