Valued Customers:

The Interior Business Center's (IBC) Personnel Security Branch (PSB) is excited to announce the release of the updated Fair Credit Reporting Release and Noncriminal Justice Applicant’s Privacy Rights (Fingerprint Privacy Act Release) forms. The Fingerprint Privacy Act Release form has been updated to include acknowledgement and enrollment into Continuous Vetting programs, including Rap Back. We have attached the updated release forms and they are available on PSB's Customer Central Contractor Package Security Checklist webpage. For more information on Rap Back, please see this link for FAQs.

These forms supersede all preceding Fair Credit Reporting Release and Noncriminal Justice Applicant’s Privacy Rights (Fingerprint Privacy Act Release) forms.

Please archive all prior versions of the release forms and begin using the updated release forms immediately. Security package requirements for required documents will remain the same.

The prior version of the release forms will be accepted for a grace period until November 1, 2024, at which point packages will be returned with a request to utilize the new forms. Please share this information and new release forms with your Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), COR assistants, and Human Resources team.

Please contact PSB with any questions regarding these forms. We can be reached at 303-716-4005 or through our intake box at IBC_PSB_INTAKE@ibc.doi.gov.

Regards,

Donessa L. Gaspar
