As of May 4, 2025, responsibility for IBC’s personnel security support transitioned from the IBC to the Department’s Office of Law Enforcement and Security (OLES).

The National Security Division within OLES will now oversee all personnel security support. Customer resources will continue to be available on IBC’s Customer Central website until further notice.

IBC Credentialing Services Now Operational

SUBJECT: IBC Credentialing Services Now Operational

Dear Valued Customers,

This message is to announce Interior Business Center's (IBC) Personnel Security and Credentialing's Light Activation Station (LAS) is again operational as of August 6, 2024. The Personnel Security Branch (PSB) has successfully moved into Building 48 and our LAS is located in the front lobby. We can now accept appointments for activations, certificate updates, and PIN resets. Please contact psb_credentialing@ibc.doi.gov with any questions.

Please utilize Identity, Credential, & Access Management's (ICAM) website to navigate to the USAccess Scheduler in order to schedule an appointment.

Note: Our new location appears in the scheduling application as DOI ONLY- Card Pickup/Update, ONE DENVER FEDERAL CENTER BLDG 48, Denver, CO 80225.
