2026 Fiscal Year-End Processing – Casual Hires

DATE: Monday, August 10, 2026

Please share this information with all appropriate staff.

For Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 year-end processing, there is no cutoff and payments will be processed through September 30, 2026.

In Pay Period 2026-21, the Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS) will produce a split Labor Cost file for the current FY. This Labor Cost file will contain payroll costs for September 24 – 30, 2026, and it will use the normal naming convention at the end of the file name. Payroll costs that appear on the current year Labor Cost file will include pay codes not related to a specific day, such as Travel Reimbursement (TRV). The Labor Cost file for the new FY will include costs for October 1–7, 2026, and the file name will end with “.NEW.FY”.

Both files will be available following the calculate process for Pay Period 2026-21. For each client, there will only be one FPPS Summary Reconciliation Report available in Datamart, which will contain the total charge for Pay Period 2026-21.
