    Update to G-Invoicing Implementation

    Due to changes required in the Department of the Interior’s Financial and Business Management System (FBMS), IBC’s readiness as a Seller/Servicing Agency to accept G-Invoicing orders (7600Bs) starting October 1, 2022, will be delayed until sometime in FY 2023.

    Follow Up – Albuquerque Data Center VPN connections

    IBC is pleased to report that the Data Center migration from Denver to DOI’s new Albuquerque Data Center has been completed as planned. Following the move, we became aware of two minor issues. IBC and DOI OCIO are working diligently on the resolution of both issues. We have also notified all impacted customers.

    Government-wide G-Invoicing Implementation

    As you are aware, there is a government-wide effort under way to implement G-Invoicing. G-Invoicing is an online solution, managed by the U.S. Department of Treasury, Bureau of Fiscal Service, to provide a common platform for intragovernmental transactions.

    Update – Albuquerque Data Center VPN connections

    As we’ve previously shared, the DOI Denver Data Center serving IBC’s applications is moving to DOI’s new Albuquerque Data Center with a final cutover Memorial Day weekend (May 27, 2022, through May 30, 2022).

    Denver Data Center Move

    From early April to the end of May, the Interior Business Center and the Department of the Interior’s OCIO will be working to migrate IBC-hosted systems (OFF, FPPS, Quicktime, etc.) from the DOI Denver Data Center to the DOI hosting facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
