FPPS Leave Share Learning
Description: This training provides an overview of the FPPS (Federal Personnel/Payroll System) commands used to initiate and maintain payroll transactions for the Leave Share Program.

FPPS Payroll Leave and Operational Procedures (PLOP) Learning
Description: This course provides a broad overview of timekeeper procedures, rules and regulations including pay and leave procedures, work schedules, hazard pay coding and FPPS pay codes. Students will be given the opportunity to practice preparation of Time and Attendance reports and the corrected T&A process.

FPPS Payroll Update Training (PUT) Learning
Description: This course provides an overview of the FPPS (Federal Personnel/Payroll System) commands used to initiate and maintain payroll transactions comprising the employee's Payroll Master Record. FPPS menu options include Employee/Position Maintenance, Special Pay Maintenance, and Charity Mass Input/Change. Interpretation of the Pay Detail View (PDVW) is also provided.

Employee Express Learning
Description: Employee Express is a one stop shop for federal employees. The application will allow you to edit direct deposit information, set up financial allotments, and sign up for Health Benefits. The eLearning will walk you through various aspects of Employee Express.

Description: This training provides an overview of the FPPS (Federal Personnel/Payroll System) commands used to initiate and maintain members of the Leave Bank Program.

FPPS Payroll Update Training
Description: This course provides an overview of the FPPS (Federal Personnel/Payroll System) commands used to initiate and maintain payroll transactions comprising the employee’s Payroll Master Record. FPPS menu options include Employee/Position Maintenance, Special Pay Maintenance, and Charity Mass Input/Change. Interpretation of the Pay Detail View (PDVW) is also provided.

Topics covered will discuss how duty station changes can impact state, local and voluntary taxes; how reciprocal agreements work and when manual processing that may be needed based on each employee's tax liability to any associated state(s) and local tax entities.

Federal Personnel and Payroll Processing (FPPS): Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) Processing Procedures – A WebEx Webinar

Description: This course is intended to inform and improve the process of enrolling YCC participants in FPPS. The training includes roles and responsibilities, rules and regulations, deductions, and timesheet coding. 

Target Audience: Personnel, Timekeepers, Housing Administrators and anyone involved in the YCC process.

Each webinar is limited to 90 registrants. If necessary, POD will host additional sessions.

 

Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS) Processing: Environmental Hazard Coding for General Schedule and Wage Grade Employees

Description: This webinar provides an overview of how to properly code time and attendance (T&A) records with environmental hazard for both General Schedule and Wage Grade employees. 

Target Audience: This webinar is appropriate for supervisors and timekeepers involved with employees utilizing environmental hazard coding on their T&A.

August 2, 2022: 8:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m. MST and 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. MST 

Description: This virtual training provides an overview of timekeeper procedures. Topics covered during the virtual training include rules and regulations related to pay and leave procedures, work schedules, hazard pay, and FPPS pay codes. Attendee will learn and practice time and attendance (T&A) preparation, amendments to the T&A, and navigating the T&A process in FPPS using applicable commands. 

Target Audience: This virtual training is appropriate for supervisors and timekeepers involved in the T&A process.

 

Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS) Payroll Training: FPPS Payroll Master Update (PUT) Virtual Training  

August 3, 2022: 8:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. MST and 1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. MST 

Description: This virtual training provides an overview of the FPPS commands used to initiate and maintain payroll transactions comprising the employee's payroll master record. FPPS menu options covered include Employee/Position Maintenance, Special Pay Maintenance, and View Pay Detail. Attendee will practice inputting changes to an employee's address, taxes, entitlement, and voluntary deduction records.

Target Audience: This virtual training is appropriate for Human Resources personnel, supervisors and personnel responsible for payroll master record input and changes.

 

Federal Personnel and Payroll System (FPPS) Payroll Training: Leave Share Virtual Training  

August 4, 2022: 8:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m. MST and 1:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. MST 

Description: This virtual training provides an overview of the FPPS commands used to initiate and maintain payroll transactions for the leave share program. It will include how to initiate and maintain leave share recipient and donor records in FPPS. Also covered will be how to interpret leave share information on employee leave views in FPPS as well as on the leave and earnings statement.

Target Audience: This virtual training is appropriate for Human Resources personnel, supervisors and timekeepers involved in the management or timekeeping of the leave share program.
